Upon completion of this course, viewers will be able to:  

Demonstrate the role of ACEs and racism as influencers of health and their impact on children and adolescents

Describe factors that can influence how caregivers discipline children

Describe effective and positive methods of discipline and how to support caregivers.

Describe caregiver characteristics and caregiving arrangements that can put children at risk for maltreatment.

List psychosocial risk factors that have a co-occurrence with child maltreatment and protective factors.

Describe the impact of implicit bias when assessing negative attributes and risk factors.
