41 students were given the opportunity to take a week-long trip to explore some of America’s top-performing Historically Black Colleges and Universities! Our campus tour aims to inspire and empower students to consider HBCUs as a viable option for their higher education journey.
The scholars visited Lincoln University (Missouri), the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Grambling State University, Fisk University, Jackson State University, Tennessee State University, and Southern University.
To go along with the fun, excitement, and thrills that go with the black college experience, our scholars were also inspired by the guides and students they along the way.
HBCUs play a vital role in shaping the future of our society by providing excellent educational opportunities and cultivating a sense of community. We are so glad to give scholars in Springfield, Illinois that exposure!
