During the Memorial Day weekend, we treated 16 of our Project Ready/21st Century scholars to a professional baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the Kansas City Royals!

For a group of enthusiastic scholars, this long weekend turned into an unforgettable experience as they caught 2 foul balls during the game! The thrills continued as our scholars cheered, screamed, danced on TikTok, and took plenty of selfies for memories.

Shamar Brownlee expressed that this was his first time ever attending a professional baseball game. Ironically, he caught the first of two foul balls during the game!

"It's so crazy that I caught a foul ball, my hands are still tingling from the impact! Best believe, I'm definitely pulling up to the next trip."
