This training provides guidance on the roles of the Nutrition Coordinator, to ensure compliance with WIC Paraprofessional Program policies.
Performance Objectives
Upon completion of this course, viewers will be able to:
- Plan and implement initial and ongoing training for the CPAA.
- Describe activities in CPAA orientation for both Level 1 and Level 2 roles.
- List responsibilities of the Nutrition Coordinator.
- Identify tools used for WPP quality assurance.
- Conduct and document required quality assurance activities.
- Understand the role of a WIC mentor
- Apply effective strategies to mentoring WIC staff
