The Task Force meets every other month,  starting in January, on the third Thursday of the month from 1-3 pm.

The meetings are held in various locations.

Includes breastfeeding advocates from the following counties:  Boone, Carroll, DeKalb, JoDaviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson, Whiteside,  Winnebago

Chicago Region Breastfeeding Task Force

The Chicago Region Breastfeeding Task Force networks with local hospitals, community partners, and families in the Chicagoland area to promote human milk as the optimal form of nutrition for infants. We advocate for better lactation services and policies statewide and nationally and help to positively influence legislators, media, and consumers. 

Meetings are held via Zoom every 2nd Friday every other month. Agenda, minutes and Zoom link are emailed 1 week prior to meeting date. No fees or dues to attend or become a member. Complete membership form to be added to our mailing list. https://forms.gle/e5EquowWNA7uU1Rg7

Northern Central Breastfeeding Task Force

The North Central Illinois Breastfeeding Task Force serves the Collar Counties of Cook including DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will Counties.

Our goal is that all families will live, work, and receive health care in a breastfeeding friendly culture.

Edwardsville Region Breastfeeding Task Force

2025 Breastfeeding Conference Brochure

The task force includes breastfeeding advocates from the following counties: Bond, Calhoun, Clinton, Jersey, Madison, Monroe, Randolph and St. Clair.

The Edwardsville Region Breastfeeding Task Force meets monthly on the 2nd Monday of the month, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The October meeting is held the 3rd Monday of the month.  No meetings in August and December.
